Although she is the consort of Lord Vishnu, Lakshmi is usually on her own and worshiped on the 3rd day ofDiwali - the festival of lights - at the New Moon.
Homes are cleaned to welcome the New Year and windows are opened so that Lakshmi can enter. It is believed that she cannot enter a house which is not lit up, so every household burns special Diwali clay lamps called diyas to light the way for the goddess.
She is very welcome on my page and blessings to all who read about her.

A Dog Named “FAITH”
A dog was born on Christmas Eve 2002 with only 3 legs - 2 healthy hind legs and 1 abnormal front leg which needed to be amputated. He of course could not walk when he was born. Even his mother did not want him.
